Opening reliability
Test whether your opening can reach its first meaningful upgrade without leaking. Then compare the same stage using the unit it would replace. An all-mode recommendation still needs a workable opening on your map.
Keep the map, difficulty and rest of the lineup consistent when comparing. Watch the wave or enemy that previously caused the problem. If you change the damage core, support and economy at once, the result will not tell you which change mattered.
Before you commit scarce resources
Inspect the exact unit variant in your inventory, its current stats and any available upgrade or evolution conditions. A source ranking does not establish that your version is fully upgraded or that another player's build can be copied without its support setup.
